HAY SON EN LA PLAZA

Program that seeks to promote family unity, tolerance and respect for others, promoting the municipal squares of the Department as scenarios of peace around the traditional music of our Colombian Caribbean.

The project HAY SON EN LA PLAZA, is a space of social articulation in which the traditional rhythmic manifestations, own of the Atlantic and the Caribbean coast for their enjoyment in FAMILY are promoted. Drums, bagpipes, trumpets and cymbals will be in charge of gathering in Barranquilla squares and parks and the 22 municipalities of the Department, the largest possible number of families, who will be supported in the dissemination material of the event and in a souvenir with pedagogical character delivered at musical presentations, will have at first hand the possibility of explaining, illustrating and transmitting to the following generations, the importance of preserving and promoting the traditional musical rhythms of our Department.
